    Ashok brings more than 17 years of international healthcare experience, focused primarily on Corporate & Business Development, Mergers & Acquisitions and Strategic Planning within leading multinational corporations where he was responsible for crafting the blueprints for growth and consummating a number of transformational deals.  Recent appointments include Vice President and Worldwide Head of Corporate & Business Development at MerckSerono; Senior Vice President and Worldwide Head of Strategic Planning, Business Development & Licensing at Novartis Consumer Health; Vice President and Head of Strategy and Business Development Europe at Baxter. Experience includes senior positions at Roche, Andersen Consulting and Rhone-Poulenc, with an MA in economics and an MBA from ESSEC.
  •   Becky Hyde

    Becky has 20 years industry marketing experience, most of which has been developing and implementing strategies for global brands.  She recently worked at Rinoldi Pasta in the role of National Sales & Marketing Director for 18 months.  In her tenure there she repositioned each of the key brands, developing new brand identities and communication strategies which resulted in volumes doubling in each of the leading retail chains.  Prior to that Becky worked for JWT (multinational communications agency) for 13 years where she managed the Kraft Foods account for Asia Pacific, taking financial and strategic responsibility for 11 countries.  She sat on the Global Management Team and represented Kraft on the Regional Category Teams that were responsible for developing growth strategies for categories across the region.
  •   Paul Sherman

    Paul holds a Bachelor of Business from RMIT, an MBA from the AGSM and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.  Paul spent four and half years with Pitcher Partners in an audit and advisory capacity before moving to Fosters Group where he served in several senior finance roles, culminating in the role of General Manager Finance for the Global Clubs and Services Division.  More recently he worked as Group Financial Controller at Nylex for eighteen months.

  •   Leodevico (Vic) Ilag

    Leodevico (Vic) Ilag
    Chief Scientific Officer

    Vic has more than 17 years of biotech experience in the discovery and development of biologics and diagnostics.  He has served in multiple senior management roles in R&D and business development with several biotech companies in Australia and Europe including Patrys Ltd, HealthLinx Ltd (formerly Cryptome Pharmaceuticals), Xerion Pharmaceuticals and Morphosys.  He is also an advisor to other biotech companies.  Vic has a PhD in Microbiology/Immunology and did postdoctoral studies in structural biology.

    Bill Ramsay
    Operation Manager - Far North Queensland

    Bill started his career with a fitting and turning apprenticeship at Mossman Central Mill.  He then worked for 17 years at Weston Baked Foods in Melbourne in a number of roles, and thereafter worked in various industries installing new plant and managing initial production runs.  Bill decided to move back to Far North Queensland several years ago and now oversees production at our state-of-the-art plant in Mossman.

    Plant Laboratory Technician - Far North Queensland

    Matt has over 20 years experience in technical and operational positions in the wine industry gained in the Barossa Valley, the UK and Germany. He has gained significant experience within wine making, packaging and quality assurance aspects of the wine business, and is looking forward to working and living in Far North Queensland with his family.
  •   Alison Wright

    Alison Wright
    Senior Food Technologist

    Alison has over 20 years experience in the food industry, primarily with dairy and confectionery products. She has held R&D project leadership and management roles with Kraft in Australia, the US and Canada, including process implementation and qualification. Alison also has production quality and food safety experience. Alison brings to the team her practical and technical experience, and will be working on applications and further developments. Alison has a Masters degree in Food Science.
  •   Tim Ellis

    Tim Ellis
    Senior Scientist

    Tim has over 15 years research experience in both industrial and academic environments in Australia and the United States. His most recent roles were senior research positions at Modular Genetics and Tate and Lyle managing multidisciplinary teams developing microbial strains for use in the production of renewable bio-based chemicals. Tim has a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Monash University.
